Breaking the image of Discover as the common people commuter, Bajaj released the Discover 150S with improved power delivery and better looks. The Bajaj Discover 150S has bridged the gap between the commuter class and the premium sports class. The bike is launched in two variants : One incorporated with a 240mm front disc and the other version going usual with the 130mm drum brakes at the front and 110mm drum brake at the rear.

The power plant of Bajaj Discover 150 S is a 144.8cc, four stroke, OHC engine that makes commuting more interesting and thrilling. The DTS-i four valve technology ensures more power and a better fuel economy as per a 150cc package. The engine generates a peak power of 14.3bhp at 8,500rpm corresponding to a maximum torque of 12.7Nm at 6,500rpm. The transmission system is the five-speed constant mesh with Digital CDI ignition system. Bajaj Discover 150S sits on a semi double cradle frame.

Bajaj Discover 150 S comes with powerful DC headlights, one of its kind to ensure a steady and brighter beam of light even in case of idling and low rpm. Another improvement is the new and improved 10-spoke stylish diamond type alloys with tyre sizes of 80/100-17 for the front and 100/90-17 for the rear. When it comes to comfort, the Discover 150S possesses a spring loaded Nitrox (gas charged) monoshock and front telescopic forks.
