Aprilia Tuono V4

Tuono fans rejoice! Aprilia has brought the Tuono V4 to India, priced at Rs 20. 66 lakh (ex-showroom). Check out our launch story for more details.

For 2021, the Tuono V4 underwent a redesign, switching to a new fascia featuring an all-LED headlight, DRLs and cornering lights, all in line with the 660 twins. Moreover, the fuel tank and the rider seat have been redesigned too and the handlebar is now taller for a more comfortable riding position.

On the techy side of things, the Tuono V4 now gets a larger TFT display and better switchgear. The rider aids include six riding modes (three for the road and three for the track), traction control, wheelie control, ABS and newly added engine brake control, all controlled by a six-axis IMU and Marelli ECU.

Along with this, the Tuono V4 packs Öhlins Smart EC 2. 0 semi-active suspension system as standard equipment, coupled with a lighter aluminium swingarm with lower reinforcement brace, similar to the one seen on Aprilia’s MotoGP and WSBK race bikes.

And underneath all this lies the same 65-degree 1,077cc, V4 engine that belts out an eye-watering 177PS and 121Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
