Overview
Suzuki Motors India Private Limited (SMIPL) has pushed the paddle of acceleration to stand with the other two-wheeler manufacturers present in the country. So, the company introduced a new product in the rapidly growing 110cc scooter segment that targets a larger buyer base than the current 125cc scooters like Access and Swish. The name of the new scooter is Let's, which is formed with the most advanced and refined technology by Suzuki. The scooter is the most fuel efficient scooter in its 110cc segment. The manufacturer has made all the possible efforts to make the product offer more and is appreciable.
Suzuki has used a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, OHC, 2-valve engine that displaces 112.8cc to power the new Suzuki Let's. The engine is mated with the CVT system that makes it run effortlessly. The maximum power generated by the mill is 8.7bhp at an acceleration mark of 7500rpm, while creating the peak torque of 9.05Nm at 5500rpm. The power and torque results of the engine are much superior than the other scooters available in this segment. All this is made possible by incorporating the newly invented technology SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance). This technology has also resulted into making this scooter able to return a mileage of 63kmpl, which is best in its class. The maker has given the fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liter to the scooter.
Besides being technically astonishing, the scooter also boasts least kerb weight of 98kg. The overall dimensions that it sports are 1810mm x 660mm x 1120mm (length x width x height). The scooter has the wheelbase, seat height and minimum ground clearance of 1250mm, 765mm and 160mm respectively which are quite apt for Indian roads and condition. The tyres that are adopted by the manufacturer to make it roll are 90/100-10 tubeless tyres for both ends and it has also applied 120mm drum brakes to both of them. The suspensions of the scooter carries a Telescopic oil damped type at the front and swing arm type at the rear. The suspensions help the rider to keep the ride healthy and comfortable on rough or broken roads. Suzuki Let's is the best performance gear-less scooter by the company till date.
Design
Suzuki before the introduction of Let's only had two scooters in the market, which were only segmented to the 125cc section of scooters. Now, the company has entered the 110cc scooter segment in the country, which is highly consumed and entertained. The company has made this scooter very elegant and pleasing in terms of looks and performance. Suzuki has brought the vehicle to compete with the current market rulers like Honda Activa and Hero Maestro. The scoot has very shard designing, handlebar headlight, front panel integrated side-indicators, 3D emblem and number plate looks elegant and simultaneously different from the competition. The front fender has new design and comes in body color. The foot space seems to be very large and comfortable for taller riders. The rear side panels boast the name of the scooter. The long and chrome grab rails looks very useful for the pillion rider. Black muffler and chrome alloys have been further allotted to the scooter. The rear end of the scoot is quite sharp and it gets the clear lens indicators and smart tail light.
APPEARANCE
Suzuki Let's has a pleasant appearance, it’s quite elegant as black theme over the muffler, foot space, rear view mirrors and other panels complement its color scheme. The rear panel has been designed smartly and sports the name- Let's. The rear, which is sharp, looks much fascinating. The seat looks comfortable as it looks wider and comes with the integrated grab rail. The tyres look fine with the chrome. The instrument panel of the scoot is fully analog and has an old school design cues. It displays speedometer, odometer, economy bar and fuel level. The buttons on the handlebar look promising. The color options available with the scoot are Pearl Mirage White (YPA), Metallic Tirton Blue (YSF), Glass Sparkle Black (YVB), Pearl Mira Red (YVZ) and Metallic Sonic Silver (YD8).
Features
Suzuki Let's is a finely built scooter, the brakes incorporated works nicely and avails complete safety of the rider. The tubeless tyres of the scoot, reduces the stress and tension of getting punctured. The big underseat storage space gives an additional convenience to the rider.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
Suzuki has brought a new technology for its engines, which is meant for both, enhancing full efficiency and power. The name of its technology is SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance), which has been incorporated in the 112.8cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC engine. The engine is mated with the CVT system. It has been configured to churn out maximum power product of 8.7bhp at 7500rpm with peak torque value of 9Nm at 5500rpm. Now, with SEP, this scooter becomes the most powerful 110cc scooter. With better power figures, the scooter takes less time to touch a speed mark of 60kmph. It might also help the scooter to surpass the speed mark of 100kmph. Also, the performance of the scooter becomes better and more convincing with the incorporation of new technology. Suzuki has also made this scooter the best in class mileage returner as its mileage is 63kmpl. The fuel tank capacity of scoot is 5.2 liter. With these engine specifications, this machine becomes the most competitive scooter available in its segment.
Handling & Ride Quality
Suzuki Let's is the most powerful scoot in its segment so to make it a better performer in every aspect, the maker has used 90/100 – 10 inch tubeless tyres at both the ends. It has also used the 120mm drum brakes for braking. The scoot run smoothly and gives a comfortable ride with the help of Telescopic, coil spring, oil damped suspension at the front and swing arm type, coil spring, oil damped suspension at the rear. Having a kerb weight of just 98kgs, the scooter becomes more handy and controllable. The minimum ground clearance of 160mm makes it easy for the machine to surpass any speed breaker. Seat height of 765mm enhances the rider's confidence over the machine. Keeping the dimensions standard and weight lightest, the scooter gets a better handling.

- Worst bikeWorst bike ever nothing good brakes, engine are very bad in performance
- The little devilI bought my Let's in July 2016 because the Activa was out of my budget. 2 years and 9000 kilometres since, it's still running great! In fact, it has gotten smoother than it was earlier. The scooter is extremely agile thanks to its small size, and also has amazing acceleration off green signals. One thing I particularly love about the Let's is its growl, rather than the whine that scooters generally have. Makes it feel more manly. The styling is also very modern and youth-oriented. Sometimes (once every few months) it has this weird engine problem where the ignition suddenly goes out and then it doesn't start for 15 mins or so. But apart from that, it's all good. The suspension also relaxes a lot after the first 6 months. Due to Suzuki's poor marketing efforts, we really don't see the Let's at all on the roads, just like the Swish before it. But I hope more people try it out, because it really is worth it.Read More8 1
- Stylish Bike with Optimum Comfort LevelI got a chance to experience this scooter through one of a friend who is crazy about Suzuki. Although he has Suzuki Sport bike and he bought this one for his daughter for city travel. In a first look it looks like ordinary scooter, but the handling experience is quite good as compared to others. It's quite smooth and light in handling, which is an advantage for women / girls. It has 112cc petrol engine and has an automatic transmission like other scooters. It weighs just 98kgs so it's good for handling. This is available five colours – Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage white, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Sonic Silver, therefore, the ladies of all age groups have wide range of option to choose their favorite color. My friend bought it at Rs. 52, 000 on-road so it's less expensive compare to Activa and Dio. From him, this model gives the mileage of about 55 kmpl in a city, which is not at all bad. I feel the only problem would be “After Sales Service” and spare parts availability as I have not heard about many Suzuki Scooter service center. The other feature of this scooter, which I liked is the charging point and the charger, which is quite handy and useful. Overall I like the model and driving comfort so thumbs-up for Suzuki Lets.Read More6
- Nice Scooty, but pathetic after sales servicesI bought Suzuki Lets last year and writing this review after one year of use. In May 2015, the battery of my scooty was not working properly, so I called the service center and was advised to bring battery there. I did the same, but the person there asked me to talk to another person. The second person told me that the battery will be replaced within 7 days and also told me that I can check the status over the phone ( which was not working). Battery Submitted on 2 May 2015. Called them on 5 May 2015: No response from their end. Called again on 6 May 2015: Same result, no one picked the call. Called on 8 May 2015: Again no positive reply. When I called on 10 May 2015, there was a lady who picked the call kept me telling that she will herself call me. I waited till 15 May, but did not receive any call from that lady. So finally on 16 May I reached there to check what exactly is going on. When I reached there, I get the same reply that they will call me by them self. After waiting for 15 more days, I finally get the call saying I can pick the battery from their service center. Coming to the scooty, it has a nice ride quality and brings out good mileage. Apart from that service center issue, I never had any trouble with the scooty. I would like to advice Suzuki that to be successful in the market, they need to offer nice after sales services.Read More12 1
