Ola Roadster X Overview
The Roadster X is Ola Electric’s entry-level electric bike. It is available in three battery pack options and sits right below the Roadster X Plus in Ola’s lineup. The e-bike offers a good claimed range, performance and usable set of features.

The Ola Roadster X is available in three battery pack options, from which the 4.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,24,999, the 3.1 kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,09,999 and the 2.5kWh is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Ola Roadster X Design
The Ola Roadster X gets a futuristic design with sharp-looking LED headlight and sculpted, aerodynamic-looking body panels. The e-bike gets a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers, along with minimalist looking alloy wheel design. Along with this, it also gets a neatly-integrated LED tail light and a pillion grab rail.
Ola Roadster X Battery Pack And Motor
All variants of the Ola Roadster X get a 7kW mid-drive motor. The 2.5kWh variant has a 0 to 40kmph time of 3.4 seconds, a top speed of 105kmph (claimed), a claimed range of 140km and a charging time of 6 hours 12 minutes. The 3.5kWh variant gets a claimed range of 196km, it goes from 0 to 40kmph in 3.4 seconds, has a claimed top speed of 118kmph and gets from 0 to 80% in 4 hours 36 minutes. Top-of-the-line 4.5kWh variant gets from 0 to 80% in 5 hours 54 minutes, gets a claimed range of 252km, a top speed of 118kmph (claimed) and goes from 0 to 40kmph in 3.1 seconds.
Ola Roadster X Chassis, Brakes And Suspension
The Ola Roadster X uses a double-cradle steel frame along with a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. This e-bike gets drum brakes at both ends with CBS (combined braking system), along with regenerative braking via a brake-by-wire system. The bike runs on an 18-inch alloy wheel setup, with an 80 section front and 110 section rear tyre.
Ola Roadster X Features
The Ola Roadster X comes loaded with lots of features, which are standard across all variants. The electric bike gets a 4.3-inch LCD console powered by MoveOS 5, offering ride modes like Eco, Normal, and Sport. Key highlights include cruise control, reverse mode, TPMS, geo-fencing, and theft alerts. It also supports Bluetooth, OTA updates, smartwatch pairing, and provides energy insights.

The Ola Roadster X competes with other electric bikes like the Revolt RV1 and Oben Rorr EZ. Amongst these e-bikes the RV1 is the most affordable, while the Rorr EZ sits between the RV1 and Roadster X in terms of pricing.
