UM Motorcycles to announce joint venture in India on 26th September

The innovative American two wheeler brand- UM Motorcycles is going to announce its joint venture in the Indian auto market on 26th September, 2014. The JV partners of the company will be responsible fot its operations in India.

The UM Motorcycles has already unvieled its range of motorcycles for the market at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, which includes Renegade cruiser models (Commando, Limited, Sport and Duty) and streetfighter- Xtreet. These models are expected to be launched in India by the end of this year and the company will price them aggerasively in the market.

The UM Motorcycles are entering in the entry level performance segment of the Indian market and the Indian-spec Renegade and Xtreet will be powered by 223cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The company might also introduce its adventure bike- Hypersport folllowing the Renegade and Xtreet models in India.
