-
The bike has remained mechanically unchanged
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched a new colour scheme for the Scrambler 400X, along with a new offer on the purchase of the bike valid till May 31, 2025. The bike is still expected to be priced the same as before at Rs 2,66,449 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
New Colour Scheme
The new colour scheme, the ‘Lava Red Satin’ will likely co-exist with the existing ‘Volcanic Red and Phantom Black’ colour that gets a glossy finish. The bike with the new colour scheme gets a satin red coloured fuel tank that's finished in a slightly lighter matte shade when compared to the older colour scheme. The bike has also retained the black graphic stripe on the fuel tank with Triumph branding.
Offers
Triumph is currently offering a 10-year warranty as standard on the bike that covers all the major parts like the engine, transmission and electricals. The consumable parts like the brake pads, engine oil, chain, sprockets, among others are excluded under this warranty. That said, if you are planning to buy a Scrambler 400X, this might be a good time with such a long warranty offered with the purchase. Note that this offer is only valid till May 31, 2025, and is available pan-India.
What’s Unchanged
The bike is still powered by the same 398cc engine as before, producing 40PS at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike’s underpinnings too have remained unchanged and gets 43mm inverted fork and a gas-charged preload adjustable monoshock.

The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in 100-section and 140-section tyres respectively. It comes equipped with a 320mm front and a 230mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel switchable ABS. The bike also gets a switchable traction control system.
The motorcycle features a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue tachometer and a small digital inset showing readouts of range, gear position, speed, and fuel gauge. It also gets an all-LED lighting setup, engine immobilizer and a USB charging port as standard.

BikeDekho Says
The Scrambler 400X is a fantastic bike for our Indian roads, and now with the new colour scheme it looks even cooler. Additionally, the 10-year warranty should ensure peace of mind in the long run. The service interval is also pretty generous at 16,000km, which shows that the motorcycle is built to last.
Triumph Scrambler 400 X (2023-2025) User Reviews
- A bike full of characterI like the character of the engine, it's free revving and response. The seating position is upright and relaxing. I'm 6'2 and for my height the 835mm seat is great. It's nimble and easy to maneuver as well. My ownership experience has been great so far Mileage is slightly lower than expected. Bike is giving around 24kmpl in the city and 32 kmpl on the highway if riden at 100kmph. On the maintenance front there are no major issues just regular wear and tear replacements. I would recommend this bike to someone who's looking for a fun to ride bike which is easy to handle in the city and is comfortable on long rides with the ability to handle mild offroad trails. If the character of the bike and the way it makes you feel is important, the Scrambler 400x is the bike to get.Read More1
- Beginner friendly scramblerIt looks good and good for daily commute and short tours. The mileage of the bike is good .Bike is light weight which makes it easy to handle in heavy traffic. Pillion seat is comfortable for short tours. Ride is good and fine. Sometimes it lacks power in higher speeds especially at highways. Its great for daily ride and commute. The mileage is great. I had some issues with the mirror which got fixed after 1 did service. Otherwise it was a pretty fun to ride bike. Yes, absolutely i would recommend this bike to someone who wants to use it as a daily ride and want to go for short tours on it. The bike is comfortable and very beginner friendly. Finding triumph service centre can be tough if that's not an issues, one should consider this bike.Read More1
- Scramber 400X User ReviewI was looking for a tall bike because I'm 6.2 feet. I want my bike to fit my lookings. Scrambler perfectly fits me. It attracted me with its looks. I explored multiple options like, Harley Davidson X440, Himalayan 450, Scram 411, Xpulse 210, Yezdi Adv. But they didn't suits me. After all confusions, watched reviews in youtube and read it. Then I confirmed this is my bike. Comfort for the rider is top notch, no back pain. Can ride 100kms easily in one stretch. Smooth like a butter. Performance is really admiring. But pillion comfort is somewhat bad. Hard and small seat. It goes very smooth till 120, after that you can feel the vibration in handle bar and wind blast. Definitely I'll recommend to the persons who are tall like me. It attracts everyone, whenever I ride the bike or park the bike, there will be atleast 3 to 5 persons look at the bike for sometimes. I got compliments on it also. But If a person is not that much, this is not for them. Height and weight they cannot manage.Read More1 1

Suspension handles rough patches well, stable handling, power delivery and mileage is decent. There is no major complaints so far Yes, I would definitely recommend it to riders looking for a premium, comfortable bike for daily use and long weekend rides.
