The anticipating naked sport motorcycle- Suzuki Gixxer has reached at some of the Suzuki dealerships in India, however most of them are not exhibiting it. The bike is expected to be launched by the end of this month (August-2014). The company has officially started the bookings for the bike and its on-road cost is said to be around Rs. 81,000, which means that the ex-showroom pricing will be near its rival- the new Yamaha FZ Version 2.0.

Suzuki Gixxer was unveiled in January 2014 and exhibited in the 12th Indian Auto Expo in February 2014. The company doesn't revealed engine specifications of the bike that time, however, now we have all the details of this upcoming streetfighter. Bolted on a single down-tube frame, Gixxer gets the lightest 154.9cc, air-cooled motor with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology.

The all new SEP engine ensures optimum performance even with a carburetor type fuel system. Mated with a 5-speed transmission, it delivers 14.64bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm along with a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,000rpm. For better traction and grip on the road, Gixxer comes with meaty 140/60 radial and 100/80 tubeless tyres at the rear and the front respectively.

Braking of the Suzuki Gixxer is satisfactory with a front disc and rear drum type braking system. Suspension system combines telescopic front forks and a mono-shock with swin-arm arrangement at the rear. Enhancing the aggression in the machine is its naked sport styling with a masculine fuel tank, bold headlamp, countered seat, LED tail lamp and minimalized body work. Rear side of the bike is said to be inspired by the GSX series of the company and most attractive features of this bike are its 3-split-spoke alloys, sporty 2-in-1 exhaust and fully digital instrumentation.

- Mileage are good 👍 with few mantainanceThis best for interiors jobs person and comfortable and better for long range and Ii have this and it's good
- Meticulously Maintained BikeI'm offering my meticulously maintained bike for sale, boasting regular servicing and usage, and delivering remarkable mileage despite its age.
- Impresses On HighwaysWhile the engine impresses on highways, comfort for the pillion might be a concern. Nevertheless, with a commendable mileage exceeding 50 on highways, this 155 cc bike stands out in its class. There's potential for enhancement in safety features, particularly focusing on pedal functionality.Read More
- Nearly 23000 km covered 2018 BS4 And Excellent CarNearly 23000km covered the 2018 BS4 model. Quality parts are good, I got an accident an year ago with a car surprised that only my leg guard bent and little scratch on a tank. The car bonet was completely has broken. Pros:- 1. Good looking (especially tank size and look) 2. Good quality 3. We can cruise at speed of 65 to 85 on highway if no crosswind (we can go further but use windshield). However, am cruising around 65 to 75 speed in most case. 4. After 1 year, my exhaust sound is better (using motul engine oil, the engine is a little more smooth). 5. Breaking confidence is super (good breaking my bike equipped with dual disc no abs). Cons:- 1. Pillion seat is not good and also back seat and height is high (only zero fig.can sit there). 2. When hard braking rider moving to tank side. 3. The service cost is a little high. So, just buy a product from an authorized center and change yourself or with a local workshop.Read More6
