Spanish carmaker Seat marked its entry into the electric two-wheeler segment with the unveil of its first electric scooter concept which will go into production in the near future. But Seat isn’t willing to wait that long to make its presence felt in the EV space. The brand has also unveiled a smaller, sportier scooter called the Seat e-Scooter 125. It draws inspiration from the concept but looks slimmer and sleeker.

The Seat e-Scooter 125 is powered by an 8.94kW motor and a 5.6kWh removable battery that features built-in wheels and a trolley handle. According to the Spanish brand, the scooter can achieve 0-50kmph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 95kmph. It comes with three riding modes (Eco, City & Sport) which tweaks the motor and battery performance accordingly. There’s even a reverse gear which makes things a lot easier while moving around in tight parking spots.

On the features front, the Seat e-Scooter 125 comes with a short windscreen, two USB charging ports on the front apron, LED lights all around and a full-digital instrument console with a dedicated app. It also has plenty of storage space with the ability to accommodate not one but two helmets.

In terms of hardware, the scooter employs a telescopic fork, a single shock absorber at the rear and disc brakes at both ends. Minimalism is the way to go, and the scooter perfectly captures the trends of today. It’s available in three colours schemes: red, dark aluminum matt, and white.

And you’re looking for something more compact and portable, Seat also has a pair of push scooters called the eKickScooter 65 and eKickScooter 25. As the name suggests, the former offers a claimed range of 65km per charge while the latter delivers up to 25kmph. As of now, Seat is offering these products only in the European market.
