Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350: Features Explained

The Goan Classic 350 is the coolest avatar of the Classic, but is it feature-packed? We decode

    Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Goan Classic 350 doesn't just look the part of a bedroom wallpaper material, but is also fairly affordable. Priced from Rs 2,25,311 (ex-showroom, Chennai), the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 commands a premium of roughly Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 over the standard Classic 350 on which it is based. Let’s analyse what it has got for that extra cost:

    Convenience Features

    Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Console

The Goan Classic 350 packs useful modern tech into its retro-inspired design. Standard fitment includes the Tripper navigation pod, offering turn-by-turn directions and alerts for calls and messages via a connected app. There’s a Type-C USB fast-charging port on the left handlebar, a practical feature for keeping devices powered on rides.

The instrument cluster itself is a hybrid unit, blending a classic analogue speedometer with a digital LCD inset that displays the odometer, two tripmeters, a fuel gauge, and a gear position indicator. That said, the digital inset is a bit small, so you’ll have to squint under bright sunlight.

More importantly, the brand offers an optional removable pillion seat if you have to travel two-up. Sure, this is a crucial, practical add-on, but it disrupts the Bobber’s cool factor. In fact, you could just buy the regular Classic 350 if you’re riding frequently with a pillion.

Further enhancing rider comfort are adjustable levers and the slip-assist clutch, which provides a lighter clutch action and prevents the rear wheel from locking up under rapid downshifting. The adjustable levers also help in tweaking the lever reach based on the size of your hand.

    Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Headlight

The motorcycle also includes a full-LED lighting setup. Thankfully, the headlight, tail light, and the indicators are still round, so it still has that retro flair..

    Safety Features

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Safety Features

The Goan Classic 350 comes with a dual-channel ABS with disc brakes at both ends (300mm front and 270mm rear). While the braking is predictable, expert reviews note the front brake could offer a sharper initial bite, and the ABS intervention can feel abrupt under emergency braking.

It is also the only 350cc Royal Enfield bike to have tubeless spoke wheels. This setup provides the vintage aesthetic of spoked wheels with the modern safety and convenience of tubeless tyres, which are less prone to sudden deflation and are easier to repair.

The bike is shod with whitewall CEAT Zoom Classic tyres—a 100/90-19 at the front and a wider 130/90-16 at the rear. Yes, this is the only modern motorcycle to have whitewall tyres - which is a very unique feature in our opinion.

    Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 balances retro appeal with modern functionality quite well, without being overwhelming. That said, most of the features are already available on the regular Classic 350, except for the tubeless spoke wheels. So if you’re looking for a stylish factory custom bobber that not only looks smashing but is also practical enough for daily commutes.

      The 350cc bobber segment killer
It is the most stylish, eye-catching & attractive bike on a 350cc segment from royal enfield till now. With a much smoother and refined engineering from previous 350cc segments by Royal Enfield, they have really curated the best bobber which will not only grab attention but satisfy a riders soul and passion for such bikes. If you like attention and a very smooth engine with much untapped power go for this. Its the 350 bobber segment killer. Till now i have driven 900 kms in 2.5 months with the first service done, i have face zero issues with the bike. There maybe some glitches in the electronics in the much earlier builts but later they have improved those till now no issues in Engine & electronics! I was going for TVS Apache 310rtr but change my taste and segment after test riding this bike never liked any cafe racer or bobber styled bikes but this machine convince me to enter in this segment.
