Previously, Ola Electric revealed the prices of its upcoming bikes on August 15, 2025. Now, the EV manufacturer is all set to launch its first bike - the Ola Roadster X, on February 5, 2025. Recently, the Ola Roadster X, along with the Roadster and other Ola scooters, was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2025.
A few days back, Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal posted a picture of the Ola Roadster X, announcing that the bike’s production has been started. We expect the delivery to start soon after the official launch on February 5.
What do we know so far?
The Roadster X will be the first-ever electric bike from Ola. It is the most affordable entry-level bike from the Roadster range and the other more expensive models like the Roadster and Roadster Pro will be launched later this year.
Based on the battery pack capacity, the Ola Roadster X has three variants: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh. The 2.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 74,999, the 3.5kWh variant costs Rs 84,999 and the top 4.5kWh variant is available for Rs 99,999 (all prices ex-showroom).
The Ola electric bike comes equipped with an 11kW electric motor, and three different battery capacities: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh. The top 4.5kWh variant has a claimed top speed of 124kmph and goes from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.8 seconds (claimed). It is claimed to provide a range of 200km.
The Ola Roadster X features a 4.3-inch LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity features including, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts. It has three ride modes – Sports, Normal and Eco.
Hardware-wise, the electric bike is equipped with a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum brake, with a combined braking system (CBS) as standard. The Ola Roadster X is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped tubeless tyres at both ends.
