Lohia Genius launched at Rs 25K

Lohia Auto launched its electric two-wheeler Lohia Genius in the country, which is its third member after Lohia Oma and Lohia Fame. The Lohia electric scooters price in India is Rs 25,495 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Commenting on the launch Lohia Auto Industries Chief Executive Officer Ayush Lohia said that this new two wheeler is designed mainly keeping the youth in mind and company is expecting to sold 400-500 units per month. He added that firstly, the new genius will be available in North India and further expanded to other regions later on. In a single charge the new scooter can cross the maximum speed limit of 70 Km.

Lohia added that company will commence its trade in US with its Lohia Genius that is the firm launched here. The other scooters under its stable would flow later along with other products. Earlier it was stated that Lohia Auto is anticipating to enhance its business in the regions of Latin America, Africa and neighboring countries like Bangladesh. As a part of company prospective plan, Lohia Auto will launch a three wheeler with diesel engine in 2012 Auto Expo. The three wheeler is both passenger and commercial vehicle. As a part of commercial vehicle, it will carry the load of one ton while the passenger vehicle is capable of carrying three passengers. It is expected that it will be tagged between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
