Kyte Magnum Pro High-speed Electric Scooter Launched With Up To 160km Range

Comes at a mouth-watering price and gets removable batteries, navigation and more

Comes at a mouth-watering price and gets removable batteries, navigation and more

Nashik-based e-mobility brand Kyte Energy has launched the Magnum Pro at a price of Rs 80,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME II subsidy). The Magnum Pro’s silhouette is somewhat reminiscent of the Honda Dio, with an apron-mounted headlight, sharp lines and the contrast between the colours of the body panels and the wheels. That said, its indicators are mounted on the handlebar cowl while the Dio has them on its apron.

Its dual Lithium-ion removable battery packs come with a three-year warranty. Kyte Energy also promises a true range of anywhere between 100km and 160km. The Magnum Pro facilitates fast-charging as well and you can fully charge it between three to four hours.  Its motor makes a peak power of 2.4kW and can propel the Magnum Pro from 0-40kmph in a claimed six seconds, while the top speed is 60kmph. As for the underpinnings, the scooter gets a telescopic fork, dual shocks and alloy wheels. The Magnum Pro does miss out on ABS though, as it gets Combined Braking System (CBS) with drum brakes at both ends. With a kerb weight of 91kg, the Magnum Pro is fairly light as well.

The Magnum Pro’s LCD instrument console is Bluetooth compatible and facilitates insights like navigation, trip history, vehicle information, etc. It’s available in a total of four colours: Rebel Red, Space Black, Pearl White and Metallic Grey, all of which look pleasing to the eye.

At Rs 80,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME II subsidy), Kyte Energy has priced the Magnum Pro rather well, especially for what the scooter has to offer. With its solid claimed range, good amount of features and solid price, the scooter does make an interesting case for itself. It goes up against the Ampere Magnus, Okinawa iPraise+.

Best Scooter An Affordable Price

The best an affordable price for middle-class families. The mileage is good, and the high price of this scooter. Also, the build quality is good compared to other scooters.

Save money

It's really a value-for-money vehicle for in-city commuting. Next, the best part is the battery options which we get before buying. The best part is there is no maintenance for this as well. Read More
