Italjet Confirms Entry In India Via Motohaus
The Italian funky-looking scooter will soon ride on the Indian roads
Italjet, an Italian two-wheeler brand famous for its unique-looking scooters with exposed skeleton-type designs, is now ready to enter the Indian market. Itajet has partnered with Indian distributor Motohaus and has confirmed its entry into India.
When Is It Coming?
The launch date, the models planned for India, pricing and other details haven't been announced yet and will be announced at EICMA 2026, happening in the first week of November 2026.
Kolhapur-based Motohaus’s portfolio already includes international brands like Brixton Motorcycles and VLF (Velocifero) India, and Italjet becomes the latest addition. Italjet is based out of Bologna, Italy, and produces performance-oriented two-wheelers ranging from 125 cc to 700 cc. The brand’s portfolio contains the Dragster 125, Roadster 400, Dragster 700 and more.
All said and done, we expect Italjet to make its India debut with some of its lower-capacity models, such as the Dragster 125 and 300. That said, considering the scooters’ designs and the performance they put out, don’t expect them to come at a cost as they won't be the best value-for-money propositions you can get your hands on.
