Providing a glimpse into the future of Indian Streetfighters, Hero has exhibited its design and development philosophy for performance bikes is the ‘Design Concept Vehicle’ – XF3R at 2016 Auto Expo. Based on the concept of ‘Born to be Wild’, the XF3R is a motorcycle with arresting design, ferocious styling, and a new performance engine.
A combination of power and aggression, dynamic stance and grounded core, the XF3R exudes a modern and cutting edge character, giving it an edge over other bikes in this segment.
This balance of form and function is the essence of the XF3R, which will be reflected in future products of this category.
Powering the Hero XF3R is an all new liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine that uses Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) System. Further, the motor has been equipped with dual map technology to select a suitable mode of power delivery.
Other key features of the motorcycle are tubular trellis frame, high tail dual-port side exhaust, rear mono suspension, inverted front forks, ABS and single-sided swingarm.
