    The year 2015 came with many surprises in the world of two-wheelers and witnessed the future of technology. Events like EICMA and Tokyo Motor Show gave us some of the outstanding concepts that can change the future scenario of the motorcycle industry. Here, we have listed top 8 concepts that were showcased and some of them might come alive in near future.

    8. Honda CB Concept

    Honda CB Concept

    CB Concept is the updated version of Honda CB1100 and was showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The bike features an LED lamp in the headlight cluster and gets a two-chamber exhaust replacing the three-chamber design for the air-cooled inline-four motor. The gold coloured fuel tank and chrome inputs at the front enhance the overall looks of the bike.

    7. Honda Light Weight Super Sports Concept

    Honda Light Weight Super Sports Concept

    Showing the future of track bikes, Honda exhibited the Light Weight Super Sports Concept in the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. In place of a four-cylinder motor, this concept houses a twin-cylinder mill. This concept motorcycle might just be the base of Honda’s entry in the lightweight performance segment.

    6. Suzuki Hustler Scoot

    Suzuki Hustler Scoot

    Hustler Scoot is a luggage-carrying scooter by Suzuki with a lot of storage spaces. It has a conventional under-seat space and a removable luggage case that can be mounted on the floor between the rider’s feet. It also has attachments on its sides and rear end to place the luggage carrier.

    5. Volkswagen Electric Scooter

    Volkswagen Electric Scooter

    The German four-wheeler manufacturer, Volkswagen introduced an electric scooter named as Last Mile Surfer. This three-wheeler is one of its kind and can be placed in your car's boot. It weighs only 11 kg and can travel a distance of 20 km after full charge. The scooter might go on sale in the UK next year.

    4. Yamaha MWT-9

    Yamaha MWT-9

    This three-wheeled motorcycle by Yamaha was introduced at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. It comes equipped with a liquid cooled, 850 cc engine. Stated as Leaning Multi Wheel (LMW), Yamaha MWT-9 is developed under a ‘Cornering Master’ concept.

    3. Suzuki GSX-R1000 Concept

    Suzuki GSX-R1000 Concept

    Suzuki showcased the GSX-R1000 Concept during the 2015 EICMA. The bike, as of now is a concept but speculations are there that it will be launched in second half of 2016. A report by Suzuki suggests that it is the lightest and most powerful superbike ever manufactured by the Japanese two-wheeler company.

    2. BMW G 310 Concept

    BMW G 310 Concept

    The G 310 Concept is an athletic stunt bike that was prepared with inputs from 4-time Stunt bike World Champion, Chris Pfeiffer. The bike features a lot of stunt focussed components like a slim front end, broad shoulder section, raised tail, lockable throttle, broad rear wheel, large rear disc, axle pegs on the front axle and crash bars. BMW Concept G 310 can be seen in a classic BMW dress with white as the base and red & blue touches. Also, it has a mix of colors from the Brazilian National flag. Neon green and yellow touches are also provided to gain the attention of the spectators.

    1. Yamaha Motobot Ver. 1

    Yamaha Motobot

    Yamaha showcased the concept of MOTOBOT at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. It is an all new concept of a motorcycle-riding humanoid robot. YZF-R1M supersport motorcycle is used as the reference bike for the concept. The Motobot is developed under the concept of “Beyond Human Capabilities”. The goal of this highly advanced humanoid is to beat one of the fastest MotoGP rider, Valentino Rossi’s lap times.
