Bajaj Pulsar 125 New vs Old: Differences Explained
Cosmetic upgrade done right? New Bajaj Pulsar 125 compared to the old model
Bajaj launched the updated Pulsar 125 in India, focusing on visual upgrades while retaining its proven mechanical package. Here’s a breakdown of what’s new and what’s unchanged on the new Pulsar 125 as compared to the older one:
What’s New
-
New headlight: The Bajaj Pulsar 125 now gets a sharper-looking headlamp inspired by the updated Pulsar 150, giving it a more modern and aggressive face. The LED setup should also improve night-time visibility compared to the older halogen unit.
-
LED indicators: Chunky bulb indicators have been replaced by sleeker LED units, which look premium and are similar to those seen on higher-end Pulsar models.
-
Different windscreen: The small windscreen has been redesigned to match the new front-end styling, making the bike look fresher without altering its core silhouette.
-
Updated wheels and graphics: New colour-coded rim decals, refreshed graphics, and new paint options help the Pulsar 125 stand out more than before.
What’s Unchanged
-
Same engine: The bike continues with the 124.4cc, air-cooled engine producing 11.8PS and 10.8Nm, known for its refinement and fuel efficiency.
-
Same hardware: The frame, telescopic fork, and twin shock absorbers remain unchanged, preserving its familiar ride quality.
-
Same braking setup: A front disc and rear drum brake combination continues, along with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
-
Same features list: The LCD instrument console with call and SMS alerts carries over, though turn-by-turn navigation is still missing.

because the importance of performance, speed, ride smoothly, feel a better, style and look is choosen a based on the bike, or the brother have almost 5-7 brother chose a pulser on they are one reason the choose a bike. So far the ride has been completely fine. so far i have travelled mostly i group of 3 passenger but there is no different b/w travelling solo or in a triple, except that mileage may be different on the ride. I recommend the different reason pulsar buying i required on home to office on 60km going and 60km coming for they are not any problem on the ride time but the also required on 1.5litre petrol on tank or not but our bike is stop or not run 1 km to more or your choice you buy on your purpose.
