New Bajaj Pulsar 125: Features Explained

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 got its biggest generational upgrade in August 2026, and along with it came a reworked lineup of variants. Bajaj now offers the Pulsar 125 in four trims, and while the core mechanicals stay put across the range, the equipment on offer changes quite a bit as you move up. Here’s the breakdown of all the features the new 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 has to offer:

Convenience Features

The base trim gets an LCD console instead of a TFT. While it still offers turn-by-turn navigation, the TFT display on the higher variants offers a more premium-looking interface. In the top trim, you also get a live map mirrored straight from your phone, so you're not glancing down at handlebar-mounted phone mounts or calculating distance mentioned in the turn-by-turn navigation – useful if you commute through areas you don't know well. The belly pan is another top-trim exclusive, and it's more practical than decorative as it protects the underside of the engine from small debris. Also, the Type-C ports should make it convenient to charge modern phones that are all equipped with a Type-C port. As for the indicators, LEDs look sleeker for sure, but won’t be a decision-making feature.

As for the split seat, some riders prefer the added separation for comfort on longer rides, while others don't notice a difference either way. It's worth test-sitting both before deciding, since this one comes down to personal preference. 

Also, it’s important to know that all variants get a kick lever along with an electric starter. That said, the electric start on the top-most variant is silent. Again, it’s just a value-added feature.

Safety Features

Braking hardware doesn't change no matter which trim you pick; every variant gets a 260mm front disc paired with a 130mm rear drum, running on CBS rather than ABS. So don't expect the pricier trims to stop any quicker or feel more planted under hard braking. We’d have liked to see a single-channel ABS on the top-end variant, though. Hazard lights come standard across the board, handy if you ever break down.

If you just want a reliable commuter without fussing over screens or seat styles, the base trim already checks the important boxes: a capable engine, built-in navigation, and no compromise on handling. If you want a bit more of a fancy feature set, we’d recommend going directly for the top-end Split Seat TFT Plus variant, as it gets the most important upgrade: Google Maps mirroring, along with other bonus goodies. So for these, the added Rs 12,000 premium is worth it in our opinion.
