Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel: Explained In Images

Gets a unique black and lime green colour scheme

The Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is a simple commuter bike made future-ready with E85 fuel compatibility. It was recently launched and if you want to buy one, here’s a closer look at it in detailed images.

Looks

The Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel has a simple yet effective design. It gets a simple halogen headlamp with bulb-type turn indicators. It gets a long single-piece seat, a chrome handlebar, and black alloy wheels. Overall, it has an easy-to-like, simple design that will work for the majority of people.

Colours

The bike is available in a single black colour with lime yellow graphics. It gets Hero logos on the tank along with Flex Fuel badging. On the sides, it gets HF Deluxe badging with the same yellow graphics.

Engine

The bike is powered by a 97cc single-cylinder engine that makes 8.56PS and 8.3Nm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. One thing to note here is that the bike produces 0.54PS and 0.25Nm more than the E20-compliant version, but only with E85 petrol. It also gets an upgraded ECU along with updates to the fuel system to make it compatible with E85 fuel.

Features

While the feature list is not that long, it covers the essentials:  an electric starter motor and side stand cut-off sensor. The bike also gets CBS (combined braking system). Although we wish Hero could have added the stop-start system, which could have helped with a better mileage.

Comfort and ergonomics

The bike has an upright riding position. It gets a long, spacious seat. At 805mm, the seat height should be approachable for shorter riders as well.

Underpinnings

It gets a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The bike rides on 18-inch wheels and has 130mm drum brakes on both ends. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 112kg. While they are nothing out of the ordinary, they should make the bike easy to ride and to maintain as well.

BikeDekho Says

The Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is a simple commuter with future-ready E85 fuel compatibility. It offers a comfortable ride, great fuel economy, and comes at an affordable price of Rs 72,792 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It should be perfect for someone wanting a commuter that’s easy to own.
