New models and Thunderbolt 350 to reach Europe in 2027
While Classic Legends hasn’t been particularly active with the BSA brand in India, things are quite different in Europe. At EICMA 2026, the manufacturer unveiled two new 350 cc motorcycles, the BSA Scrambler 350 and BSA Bobber 350. Alongside these new models, BSA has also updated the colour options across its existing motorcycle line-up for 2027.
BSA Scrambler 350: A modern take on the Bushman
The new BSA Scrambler 350 draws inspiration from the 1966 BSA Bushman. Although it looks like a scrambler version of the regular Bantam 350, and almost identical to the Yezdi Scrambler 350 we get here in India. It uses a new 334 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 29 PS and 30 Nm. BSA claims the motor is lighter, more powerful and offers better low- and mid-range performance. It looks like the new Katar engine that Yezdi introduced in the Scrambler 350 a few months back. It gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, with 320 mm and 240 mm disc brakes, respectively. The motorcycle weighs 184 kg (kerb) and has an 812 mm seat height. It will be available in Black, Green and Grey.
BSA Bobber 350: A different engine and lower seat
The BSA Bobber 350 gets a different 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 28.2 PS and 26.4 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It features a telescopic fork, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm front and 240 mm rear discs, with dual-channel ABS as standard. Its 742 mm seat height should make it accessible to more riders, although it weighs 189 kg (kerb). The standard version gets a dark red and grey colour scheme. BSA has also showcased the BSA Bobber 350 SP (Special Parts), which gets gold USD fork, 16-inch wire-spoke wheels, a chunkier front tyre and a TFT display. It is available in a Dark Chrome finish.
BSA Thunderbolt 350
The BSA Thunderbolt 350 is the brand’s first modern adventure motorcycle, featuring traditional rally-inspired styling with a tall front section, prominent beak, asymmetrical headlamp and a narrow rear profile. It is powered by a 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29 PS and 29.6 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets a 43 mm USD fork, rear monoshock and 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. It also features three riding modes for ABS, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and an adjustable windscreen, making it suitable for everyday riding and light off-roading.
Will They Come To India?
BSA hasn’t confirmed whether the two new 350 cc motorcycles will make their way to India. There are no prices yet either. However, the company has confirmed that the BSA Scrambler 350, Bobber 350 and the delayed Thunderbolt 350 will reach European markets in 2027.
