Both of the new shades easily blend in with the existing colour options of the BSA Gold Star. They carry the same premium, minimalistic vibe, which the existing colours have got. The Birmingham Blue shade gets a glossy navy blue finish on the fuel tank, fenders, and side panels. While to maintain the stealthy vibe of this shade, the brand has given it matte black engine components, side-view mirrors, wheels and exhaust. There is also a white stripe on the top of the fuel tank, which gives it a slight sporty feel.

On the other hand, the Brooklands Black shade carries a proper premium finish accompanied by a gloss black and chrome finish on the fuel tank, black side panels, and chrome fenders. The engine components here finished in brushed aluminium. There is also a premium looking golden stripe on the top of the tank, and both of the fenders. Overall both of these shades do make the bike look quite tempting, and they definitely suit the retro vibe of this bike.

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged and uses the same frame, suspension and wheels setup. The 652 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine makes 45 PS, 55Nm, and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox, just as before. While the features list too, remains sleek and simple, just as before.
BSA Gold Star User Reviews
- Old school character & thumpyI was looking for a big bike that is easy to handle & has some character. BSA Gold Star has a classic & thumpy character that makes you feel like an old school charm. I'm primarily using it for city & highway rides. I have ridden it around 6000 kms that include both city & highway rides. The bike has great rear suspension & okayish front suspension (could've been improved). I prefer to setup the pre load to 4 (against the default 2) for better quality ride. Yes, Definitely go for it if you're looking for a thumpy performance & old school characterful bike. Suites best for city & highway commutes. It's a proper roadster with good mileage & lower end torque.Read More
- Great bikeBought this bike 6 months ago and done almost 9000km and the bike is running smooth did a little little bit of modification to exhaust now it sounds better than the re650’s. Good performance, very comfortable mileage is not good but enough for a 650cc motorcycle, if anyone is looking for re 650 i would recommend do take a test ride of goldstar you will not regretRead More4 3
- Very good bikeThe performance will be just like the classic 650. Even though It has an upward riding position, it's still a comfortable bike. Cannot tell until I know the real price from my area because what I see online isn't always real style and design-wise this would be the coolest bike ever made in India.Read More3
- Battery issue and pathetic serviceBattery issue and pathetic service quality. Vehicle stopped inbetween as battery discharge while running. Unreliable vehicle without proper service back up. After the vehicle got serviced from the authorised service station, same issue occured again. No quality in serviceRead More3 3
