India’s most affordable cruiser bike explained in some high quality images

2026 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street: Explained In Images

The 2026 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street is a relaxed cruiser motorcycle designed for riders who prefer comfort over outright performance. It combines the familiar Avenger styling with a powerful 220cc engine, making it an ideal choice for daily commutes as well as weekend highway rides. The Avenger 220 Street is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you’re planning to buy one, here’s a closer look at the bike in real-world detail.

    The Classic Cruiser Styling

    Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

The 220 Street carries the signature low-slung cruiser design with a blacked-out theme that gives it a modern yet understated appearance. It gets an LED headlamp with a neatly integrated DRL, wide handlebars, a metal fuel tank, alloy wheels, and a long, comfortable single-piece seat. The low seat height and stretched-out stance give it a proper cruiser feel without making it intimidating for new riders.

    Details:

    • Round LED headlamp with a neat looking DRL

    • Blacked-out engine, alloy wheels and exhaust

    • Low-slung cruiser stance with wide handlebars

    Colours – Simple And Elegant

    Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

The Avenger 220 Street is available in two subtle colour options that suit its relaxed cruiser personality. The paint schemes are: Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red. Personally, we prefer the red shade a little more, as it gives this rather classic cruiser bike a subtle sporty touch. For more information, you can check out our detailed colours explainer for the Bajaj Avenger 220 Street.

    Details:

    • Premium dual-tone paint finish

    • Blacked-out components complement both colours

    • Simple colour schemes enhance the classic cruiser styling

    Engine And Performance

    Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

Powering the Avenger 220 Street is a 220cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine producing 19PS at 8,300rpm and 17.6Nm at 7,000rpm paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor is known for its linear power delivery and having enough grunt for easy city and highway duties.

    Details:

    • Linear power delivery

    • Strong low and mid-range performance

    • Comfortable cruising at highway speeds

    Features

    Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

The Avenger 220 Street gets a fully digital LCD instrument console that shows all the necessary information like gear position indicator, distance-to-empty, fuel level, trip meter, clock and more. Other equipment includes an LED headlamp with DRL, side-stand engine cut-off, and single-channel ABS for safer braking. Here is a quick features explainer of the Bajaj Avenger 220 Street.

    Details:

    Underpinnings And Other Specifications

    Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

The Avenger 220 Street is built around a tubular frame with telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a 280mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum, with single-channel ABS. The motorcycle comes with a low 737mm seat height, making it one of the most accessible options in the segment. With a kerb weight of 160kg, and a 13-litre fuel tank, it should be well suited for both everyday riding and long-distance touring.

    Details:

    • Extremely accessible 737mm seat height

    • Comfortable ergonomics for long rides

If you’re looking for an affordable cruiser that offers a comfortable riding posture, smooth power delivery, and relaxed highway manners, the 2026 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street remains one of the best options in its segment. It is particularly well suited for riders who prioritise comfort and easy-going performance over outright speed, while its updated features make it a more modern cruiser than before.

      I’ve been using the Bajaj
I’ve been using the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 (STD) for a while now, and I’d like to share my honest opinion based on my riding experience. The first thing that caught my attention is its stylish street cruiser look. The low-slung design, matte black finish, and wide handlebars really give it a powerful road presence. It feels like a big bike but comes at a price that’s still affordable. In terms of comfort, it’s honestly one of the most relaxing bikes I’ve ridden. The riding posture is laid-back, and the seat is broad, making long rides smooth and enjoyable. It doesn’t strain your back even on longer routes. The 220cc engine delivers a smooth and punchy performance. Whether I’m cruising in the city or hitting the highway, the power is enough for my needs. It pulls well even with a pillion and has a good pickup.

Good product but some refinement should be done with the engine. Although it is a good bike but service centre should be more careful with bike otherwise it will not delivers full potential . My friend bought this bike 1 year ago he is good at taking care of the bike that's why there is no issue thanks.
