Bengaluru based Numeros Motors has launched its first electric scooter at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Diplos Max has been priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom) and bookings for the model are now officially open. The Diplos Max is based on the Diplos platform, which also includes two more models: the Diplos Pro and Diplos I-Pro variants, catering to different customer segments.
Design
The Numeros Diplos Max has a distinctive and boxy design. At the front, it features a round headlight mounted on the apron, and an LED DRL positioned on the headlight cowl. The scooter is equipped with a split seat arrangement, with a small underseat storage beneath the rider’s seat, and a single-piece rear grab rail. It is available in three colour options: Crimson Red, Sonic Silver, and Cosmos Blue.
Drivetrain
The Diplos Max is powered by a hub-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), delivering 2.67kW and 138Nm. The scooter can reach a top speed of 63kmph. With a total battery capacity of 3.7 kWh, powered by two 1.85kWh lithium-ion battery packs, it offers an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) claimed range of 140km in Eco mode. The scooter charges fully from 0 to 100% in about 4 hours with a 1.2kW charger.
Underpinnings
In terms of suspension, the Max has a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, with 12-inch wheels and disc brakes at both ends, 150mm of ground clearance, and a kerb weight of 137kg. It has an underseat storage space, but it is relatively small, fitting only a half-face helmet with only some extra space to spare.
Features
Features wise, this EV scooter gets a fully digital instrument console which displays the speed, odometer, battery percentage, and range. Additionally, it has LED lighting all around, a reverse mode, and a total of two riding modes: Eco and Normal.
