BREAKING: Hero XPulse 200T 4V Launched In India At Rs 1,25,726
Borrows the engine from its offroad sibling, XPulse 200 4V, and gets a few other updates
After months of anticipation and teasers, Hero has finally launched the XPulse 200T 4V in India at Rs 1,25,726 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The updated model costs Rs 1,036 more than the 2V model and gets a bunch of interesting upgrades.
Most importantly, the 200T now comes powered by the same 199.6cc, four-valve, air-/oil-cooled engine as its offroad sibling, the XPulse 200 4V. It even makes the same 19.1PS and 17.35Nm as the offroader. The 2T model makes 18.1PS and 16.5Nm.
When it comes to the design, there are slight upgrades as well. The updated bike gets a repositioned fully LED headlight unit (20mm lower), a new visor which is body-coloured, fork gaiters, a new belly pan and a simple grab rail at the rear. It also comes painted in three funky new shades: Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow and Matt Shield Gold.
There are no changes in the feature department, and the XPulse 200T still comes loaded with a fully digital LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Underpinnings are the same as the previous model – telescopic fork and dual shock absorber suspension setup along with discs at both ends for braking.
Summing up, a premium of just Rs 1,000 for a bunch of upgrades, a new engine and more power and torque is a pretty good deal.
