The limited-edition costs Rs 18,000 more than the standard variant, and here’s what you get for the premium

BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition vs Standard

BMW had recently launched the ‘Limited Edition’ variant of the G 310 RR, which is limited to 310 units. This was launched to celebrate the brand selling 10,000 units of the cheapest BMW faired bike in India.

This new variant of the G 310 RR is priced at a fairly big premium over the regular BMW G 310 RR. You may wonder, what are the differences between the two? Is this Limited Edition worth it? Here are our answers:

    Special Colours

The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition is offered in 2 special colours: Cosmic Black and Polar White. Both feature BMW RR graphics, which are inspired by the brand’s litre-class S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR bikes.

BMW G 310 RR New Colours

We think the colours look really cool and sporty. Getting this Limited Edition seems like an affordable way to experience the premium colours that the brand offers on its top-end models.

BMW G 310 RR Standard Variant Colours

Interestingly, though the Standard variant doesn’t come with the limited edition graphics, the livery on all the three colour options: white, black, and blue - are pretty sporty in their own right. The white scheme gets blue and red elements with sporty graphics, whereas the black one comes with grey highlights and a red-coloured RR logo. The blue colour is really attention-grabbing with the blue scheme on the bodywork and white, black and red elements in the mix.

    Special Badging & Limited Numbers

What makes this bike a true limited edition is that the brand has limited its numbers to 310 units. Each bike gets a unique badge on the top of the fuel tank that says ‘1/310’, indicating that this is one of the 310 limited-edition bikes. These aren’t there on the standard bike.

    Extended Warranty & More

The brand is offering a 3-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, which can be extended to 5 years. Along with this, a 24/7 roadside assistance package is also included with the purchase of the bike.

Premium Pricing But No Other Changes

The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it almost Rs 18,000 more expensive than the regular variant of the bike, priced at Rs 2.81 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices are inclusive of the GST 2.0 rates. Other than the addition of the new colours, there are no changes to the bike. Even the warranty on both bikes are the same: 3-year unlimited km warranty, extendable up to 5 years.

BMW G 310 RR Standard Edition

Sure, the special colour scheme with limited edition badging looks cool, but the standard colours aren’t that bad either. In our opinion, the big premium isn’t really justifiable, especially considering the fact that you’re not gaining any extra features. If you want to buy an affordable BMW that grabs attention, we suggest you go for the blue colour version of the standard G 310 RR.

The Entry-Level Beemer That Commands Attention
I've been riding the BMW G 310 RR for several months now and its a bike that definitely makes a statement If you are looking for a machine that balances daily usability with that big bike. Feels comfortable. The only downsides are the premium price tag and the service costs which are higher than competitors. However, you are paying for the brand experience and the sophisticated electronics like this as compared. The engine is quite lively especially in Track and Sport modes. Its perfect for navigating city traffic and handles beautifully on twisty roads. While there are some vibrations once you cross 7000. Overall its nice

Sporty, premium and fun to ride
Chose the G310 RR for its sporty BMW design, strong performance, and premium feel. Its a perfect mix of daily usability and weekend fun. It feels special to own and stands out from other bikes in this segment. Ride quality is smooth on highways and confidence-inspiring at high speeds. Handling is sharp, though suspension feels a bit stiff on bad roads but manageable overall. Breaking is good and it builds good confidence too. Yes, especially for riders who want a sporty, reliable bike with great performance and BMW build quality in this segment. It is fun to ride, looks amazing, and delivers a premium riding experience and it looks is amazing.

      Premium Feel with Confident Ride
I chose BMW G 310 RR because I wanted bike that feels premium but not too big. The design looked sharp and I liked its color. My brother told me it handles city and highway well. I wanted a bike that looks classy, runs smooth, and gives confidence while riding. Riding has been smooth and enjoyable. The bike feels light but strong. Handling is easy in traffic and stable on highways. I took it for a long ride and never felt tired. Engine is quiet but powerful. It rides well in rain too. I feel proud and happy whenever I go out on it. I would recommend it to friends who want a stylish and strong bike. It is easy to control, smooth, and comfortable. Looks premium and feels safe. I think anyone who likes sporty yet classy bikes will enjoy it. It is a good mix of fun and comfort.
