Bajaj Auto recently launched the updated Dominar 250 in India at a price of Rs 1,91,654 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike gets quite a few additional features for a better riding experience, along with a small price hike. Let’s have a closer look at what the new Dominar 250 has to offer:
Design
For 2025, the Bajaj Dominar 250 retains its muscular and sporty design, with a well sculpted fuel tank and sharp looking front and rear end. Along with this, the motorcycle also continues to be available in the same colour options as before: Canyon Red, Sparkling Black and Citrus Rush. To enhance the sporty looks further, the bike also gets colour-coded rim stickers.
Engine
The Dominar 250 still gets the same engine as before but with an OBD-2B update, it is a bit more environment friendly. This 248.77cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor makes the same 27PS at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. This motor has been praised for its refinement and linear power delivery.
Underpinnings
The Dominar 250 uses the same perimeter frame as before, along with a 37mm inverted fork and a monoshock with preload adjustability. It gets a 320mm front and a 230mm rear disc brake setup. It uses the same 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with a 100-section front and a 130-section rear tyre. Along with this, the fuel tank capacity and kerb weight remains unchanged at 13 litres and 180kg.
Features
For a more comfortable riding experience, Bajaj has also given the new Dominar 250 a redesigned handlebar. The Dominar 250 also now gets a switchable traction control system and four modes for the dual channel ABS: Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road. The intensity of the ABS system depends upon the mode, and the traction control can also be turned off in Sport and off-road modes. It also gets a new LCD console - inspired by the Pulsar NS200/RS200. This console supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. The previous-generation Dominar had no smartphone connectivity on its LCD console. It also did not have any electronic aids like the 2025 model does. Other features, like the all LED lights and USB charging port remain unchanged.

The new Dominar 250 is Rs 5,158 more expensive than the older version. For the added premium, the new Dominar 250 surely offers a lot more useful features for a better overall riding experience. It also finally feels modern enough now that it has connectivity - something that even 110cc scooters get these days. Being a tourer, this also goes a long way in making the bike a bit more rider-friendly. While traction control is not super necessary, it just makes life a lot easier (& safer) while riding on heavy rains. Same goes to having ABS modes as well.

I always wanted to own dominar, and I wanted a bike within the budget if 2L-2.5L and below 300CC and dominar 250 was a perfect fit for me. The sound the way it handles its a true beast. Every single time I open the throttle I felt in love with the bike. The sound is so nice its a head turner. Positive handles very well. The pull after 4000 rpm is next level. Maintenance is cheap. For rider its comfortable. And Negetives Weight, rear stock tyre is very thin, mileage is bit less when compared to its competitors. If a person is a highway tourer and want to cruise miles and miles its a best option. Even i have took my bike to extreme offroad I have managed. In city it might be bit difficult to ride it. It is a really good bike only if for city purpose and if you are living in a heavy traffic places then i would not recommend as it is bit difficult in city due to heating and bit lack of low end torque. I bought the Bajaj Dominar 250 a few months ago and my overall experience has been quite satisfying. The bike feels stable and confident on highways, and the power delivery is smooth for both city rides and long tours. Riding comfort is good, especially the seating posture which doesn’t feel tiring even after long rides. The looks are premium and definitely stand out in its segment.
