Suzuki Motorcycle India has showcased the updated Suzuki Access 125 at 2016 Auto Expo. The scooter receives lots of cosmetic updates and gets refreshed headlamp, indicator lamp, side panels and tail lamp. Apart from this, the overall body of this scooter is now wrapped in more chrome. The company has offered disc brake as well as an optional feature with this two-wheeler. The scooter will take on likes of Honda Activa 125 and Yamaha Ray-Z.
Mechanically, Access 125 remain unchanged and comes equipped with 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single cylinder engine. The motor is linked with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and develops a maximum power of 8.7bhp at 7000 rpm along with 10.2Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The scooter is also fitted with telescopic front suspension for excellent ride quality along with maintenance Free battery, tubeless tyres, optional Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and central locking system. Apart from this, it also comes with a unique multi-reflector headlamp for focused and brighter vision for safe night riding.
Suzuki Access 125 runs on a 90/90 - 12 front and 90/100 - 10 rear tubeless tyres that are mounted on steel/alloy wheels. The braking duties are taken care of by durable drum brake at the both ends. The scooter has an overall dimensions of 1870 mm in length, 655 mm in width, 1260 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1265 mm. It has a minimum ground clearance of 160mm and a seat height of 780 mm.
