The renowned Japanese manufacturer Suzuki is displaying a turbo engine for motorcycles at its stall at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. Earlier, the news of Suzuki developing a turbocharged bike went viral over the internet. Christened as Recursion, the company had filed a patent for it a few months back. However, the engine that Suzuki is currently flaunting at the Tokyo Motor Show looks different from the one employed in its Recursion concept.

On the contrary, there are a few similarities that make us believe that Suzuki would be using it in its turbocharged bike if it turns out to be a reality. Firstly, the engine is the same twin-cylinder as seen in the Recursion. Furthermore, the powerplant on display is rumoured to have an engine displacement of 600cc, while that one employed in the Recursion had 588cc engine capacity, both of which are almost same. If some sources are to be believed, Suzuki will name this engine as EX7 and we could see this in the Recursion bike only for which the manufacturer has filed patents.

Talking of Recursion, the bike claims of producing 100PS of maximum power at 8000rpm along with 100Nm of peak torque at a surprising 4500rpm. Such impressive amount of torque at such low rpm range is what makes it a 50% more fuel efficient motorcycle. If turns real, the bike is expected to come with a handful of interesting features such as LED headlamp, an underbelly exhaust, number plate mounted on the tyre hugger and much more.
