Soon after releasing dual tone colours of its popular scooter Lets, the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has launched the revised version of its popular 110cc commuter motorcycle, Suzuki Hayate. The new avatar comes with body coloured side panels along with new graphics. Besides the visuals, the bike gets a few alterations mechanically with a new maintenance free battery and five-step adjustable rear shock absorbers. For better convenience, tubeless tyres have also been added to the package that eases the situation in case of a puncture.

Powering the Suzuki Hayate is an 112.8cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that comes mated to a four-speed transmission and churns out 8.3bhp of maximum power and 8.8Nm of peak torque. The manufacturer claims a mileage of up to 69kmpl for the bike which is quite good for daily commuting. The Hayate progresses on 70/100-17M/C 40P front and 80/100-17M/C 53P rear tyres, covering 17-inch black alloy wheels.

The refreshed Hayate has been priced competitively at Rs. 54,601 (on-road, Delhi) and Rs. 59,523 (on-road, Mumbai). The bike is available in the following five attractive paint schemes: Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Moon Stone Grey, Glass Sparkle Black-Blue Graphic, Glass Sparkle Black-Red Graphic and Pearl Mira Red-Glass Sparkle Black. Suzuki Hayate rivals with the leading commuters available in the country such as TVS Star City Plus, Hero MotoCorp Splendor Plus/Pro and Mahindra Centuro range.

With the news of dual-toned Gixxer bookings open, received today, it seems that Suzuki might be going on a colour war with its two-wheelers.
