The entire Chetak range has been updated with a whole bunch of features. Not just that, the price has also reduced, making the scooters more accessible.
What’s New
First and foremost, all the Chetak models have the suffix ‘C’ – now called C3501, C3502, C3503, C3001, and C2501. The top speed of all the variants has gone up – 80kmph on the C3501 & C3502, 70kmph on the C3503 & C3001, and 60kmph on the C2501. The motor on the C3501 is now more powerful as well – makes 4.8kW as compared to the earlier 4.5kW.
The C3501 digital console now supports full Google Maps navigation via the smartphone app. However, it’s an optional extra enabled by the TecPac that is priced from Rs 3,000, depending on the variant. That said, even turn-by-turn navigation is optional on all the variants. The C3501 and C3502 also get OTA (over-the-air) update functionality, which can remotely enable new features on these scooters. On the C3001 and the C2501, riding modes (Eco & Sports), and hill-hold assist are available as standard – these were optional extras earlier.
On the C3001, the 0-80% charging time is reduced to 2 hours 55 minutes from 3 hours 50 minutes. The C2501 is now priced at Rs 91,504, which is Rs 5,000 more affordable than before.

While Bajaj hasn’t confirmed it yet, the price drop should be across the Chetak range – most likely due to the subsidies from the extended PM Drive scheme. This makes the Chetak range more accessible, and with the newer features, especially on the lower variants, their value-for-money quotient goes up. This should make it easier for those on the fence about getting one.

- About chetak it's osum scootyI choose this bike because, I heard from someone electric bike is more value for money, first I thought there will not so much difference then I search, I saw it so value for money and I adviced to buy a chetak. My ride was so far because this EV is the most value for money fuel, first I was using a bike of 160 cc it's average for me was very less in 1 litre petrol it goes nearly 25 to 27 km but, I have taken EV so no need to go for petrol thanks.
