Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi Launched At Rs 99,662

Suzuki has priced its new Gixxer SF Fi, the fuel-injected variant of the Gixxer SF, at Rs 99,662 (ex-showroom, Mumbai); power output remains the same at 14.8PS.

Suzuki has priced its new Gixxer SF Fi, the fuel-injected variant of the Gixxer SF, at Rs 99,662 (ex-showroom, Mumbai); power output remains the same at 14.8PS.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced the launch of the fuel-injected Gixxer SF Fi which is now available for booking at select dealerships in nine cities. The bike has already arrived at dealerships in Mumbai with a price tag of Rs 99,662 (ex-showroom) and the dealerships are giving delivery as well, with an on-road cost of around Rs 1.12 lakh. The bike is expected to reach Delhi and Bangalore dealerships by the end of this month.

The Gixxer SF Fi is exclusively available in the MotoGP edition colour scheme and the 220mm rear disc comes standard with the fuel-injected trim. Coming to the visual difference from the standard bikes, it just gets an Fi badge on the left side of the front fairing. Apart from that, the bike looks identical to the standard MotoGP edition Gixxer SF.

Fuel injection will surely improve the response of the engine, while the 155cc, air-cooled motor continues to deliver 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. However, the effect of the advanced fuel system can be felt in the way the engine delivers the power and enhances the riding experience.

Other features of the Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi are also similar to the standard model, including the beefy 41mm front forks, 7-step adjustable rear monoshock, fully digital instrument cluster, sporty dual-port exhaust muffler, 3-split-spoke alloy wheels and a fat 140/60 section rear tyre. Along with all these traits, the addition of fuel injection makes the bike around Rs 8,000 - 9,000 costlier as compared to the non-Fi MotoGP edition with rear disc brake.

Value For Money Bike

Riding Gixxer since 2018, It gives mileage between 45-50 in mixed road conditions. Comfort level is average, not good for long riding especially for pillion. The performance is nice. You can ride it at speeds aalso complete in the range of 1,000 to 2,000. A headlightbove 90 km/h confidently because it provides a good braking system. General service is also complete in the range of 1,000 to 2,000. A headlight throw from a halogen bulb is average.Read More
