Yezdi recently posted a couple of new teasers on its Instagram page. The first one shows a headlight shot, whereas the second one shows a windshield. The headlight design and the placement of indicators, along with the windshield makes us believe it is an updated Roadster.
The first teaser strongly points at the possibility of a new colour option for the Roadster. Perhaps it could be a new green shade. But then if you factor in the second teaser, the update seems much more than just new shades. It is quite possible that Yezdi will update the Roadster with the new-gen Katar engine that the Yezdi Scrambler 350 came with. So along with the new engine, expect new colours and perhaps better features, including a windshield.
That said, expect the overall output to remain more or less the same as the existing engine’s 29.1 PS and 29.63 Nm, but the tuning could be different. The chassis and underpinnings could remain unchanged. Currently the bike starts at Rs 1,96,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi), but the new update might push the price up slightly, perhaps to around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, and the soon-to-be-launched Honda Rebel 300.

I wanted a Stylish and powerful motorcycle with liquid cool , six speed gears so Roadster was there, I have ridden this bike almost 9000 km but never felt strain or fatigue. Compare to other bikes with same segment. This bike offers little more features like dual exhaust, slipper clutch, dual channel abs. Roadster is very comfortable for rider and powerful engine with high torque, i have enjoyed the bike so far. Front brake performance is very good compare to rear , only rear brake is not enough to stop at sudden moment , so we have to use both brakes at the same time . Even if you ride this bike in city you will never feel any wrist pain or fatigue. I would recommend this bike for office goers only not for students because high maintenance and low mileage offers as well as spare parts of this bike is so expensive and shortage.
