Here are some interesting details about the new Komaki electric motorcycle

Currently, the Indian electric two-wheeler space is dominated by scooters rather than motorcycles. But that’s changing slowly as more brands are launching new e-motorcycles. The latest one to join the party is Komaki, with the MX3. And here we are, presenting the most interesting nitty-gritty of the all-new e-motorcycle:

Design

On the design front, Komaki has gone with an early-2000 approach. The MX3 has a commuter stance, small tank extensions, and a contrasting paint scheme. It gets a single-piece seat, wide handlebar inclined towards the rider and neutrally set footpegs. The wheels and front suspension come with chrome finishing.

Features

The Komaki MX3 doesn’t disappoint with its features. You get a self-diagnosis switch, three riding modes, parking and reverse assist, an in-built Bluetooth speaker, and an LED display.

Range

The Komaki MX3 offers a maximum range of 85km-100km and consumes not more than 1 to 1.5 units.

Underpinnings

Suspension duties on the MX3 are done by conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking hardware comprises disc brakes at either end with regenerative braking.

Price & Rivals

Komaki has priced the MX3 at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). Its rivals, the Revolt RV300 and the Kabira KM3000, are priced at Rs 94,999 and Rs 1,26,000, respectively. Kabira claims a maximum range of 120km for the KM3000, whereas the Revolt RV 300’s claimed range is 80-150km.
