Kinetic Green Zing High-Speed Electric Scooter Launched In India At Rs 85,000
Claims 125km range and a top speed of 60kmph
Kinetic Green has launched the Zing High-Speed Scooter (HSS) in India at Rs 85,000 (ex-showroom). The e-scooter is essentially a bigger version of the Zing low-speed electric scooter and packs a bunch of features.
In terms of appearance, the Zing HSS looks identical to the standard Zing flaunting a commuter-style design language with slight hints of sporty. It gets the same large fascia-mounted headlight, compact frame and a large floorboard.
Powering the Zing HSS is a 1.2kW hub motor paired to a 3.4kWh removable Lithium-ion battery pack. Unlike a few other e-scooter makers, the Zig HSS doesn’t just go slightly above the required 40kmph mark to be classified as a high speed scooter. It has the capability to reach 60kmph. Even the claimed range of the e-scooter is pretty impressive at 125km.

The Kinetic Zing HSS runs on a telescopic fork and dual shock absorber suspension setup. It gets disc brakes at both ends.
Features list on the Kinetic Zing HSS runs decently long with a digital console indicating battery percentage, part-failure, trip meter, and parking indicator. It also features a smart key with an anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, find my scooter and lock/unlock button functionalities. It also gets a USB charger and three ride modes - normal, eco and power.
In budget electric scooter offerings in India, the Kinetic Zing HSS will go up against the likes of Hero Electric Optima, BGauss D15 and the Okinawa Okhi90.
