Hero recently sent out a ‘Block Your Dates’ teaser video of a new 125cc motorcycle. The bike is supposed to be launched by the end of next week. As per the teaser video, the bike is going to be a 125cc model. It could very well be the updated Glamour 125 Xtec as it was recently spotted testing and gave us a glimpse of its modern features.
It was equipped with a cruise control system, unheard of in the 125cc segment. To operate the cruise control, the bike gets a toggle switch below its starter switch. It has two buttons with '+' and '-' symbols to increase or decrease the set cruise control speed while riding.
While the cruise control might be quite an interesting feature, the 2025 Glamour Xtec will also get a new 5-inch LCD instrument console. The unit looks similar to the one we have seen on the Hero Xtreme 250R and the Xpulse 210. The bike might get basic smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts.
Along with this, the motorcycle will get a ride-by-wire throttle (also first in the segment), and riding modes. These can be toggled via a button on the left switchcube. The motorcycle is equipped with a blue switch that likely toggles the bike’s idle-start system. This system helps improve fuel efficiency by turning off the engine when it is idle and restarting it when the clutch is pulled in. With all of these features, the upcoming Hero Glamour Xtec will be one of the most feature-loaded 125cc bikes in India.
