Hero Honda, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed its latest stylish Super Splendor which has the price tag of Rs.49, 950. This newly launched bike of Hero Honda incorporates HIIS, that is, ‘Honda intelligent ignition system’ . Anil Dua, Hero Honda Motors Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Sales, commented that the 125 cc segment of the company has been declining since last one year but the company believes that it can grow the market up to 15-20% growth now.
During the launch of Hero Honda Super Splendor, Dua was quoted saying that the strategy of constantly updating the product portfolio has been key to the success of Hero Honda. Company’s Splendor range is the leading volume driver in the deluxe segment. And today, it is further bolstered by the introduction of the all-new Super Splendor. This bike caters to the changing needs of customers and offers them more contemporary styling and efficient performance, added Dua.
The new Super Splendor of Hero Honda incorporates a newly designed carburetor which provides an improved engine performance. The five-step adjustable rear shock-absorber is also there to let you experience a smooth and comfy drive. Hero Honda is also planning to launch some more models which includes the refurbished Hunk, 150 cc motorcycle. Mr. Dua said that with consecutive months of over 4-lakh unit sales since May this year, the company is moving at all-time-high levels. They are looking to build on this momentum with a slew of new launches leading up to the festive season, he said further. As far as the 125 cc segment of Hero Honda is concerned, this segment has got three bikes as Super Splendor, Glamor and Glamor PGM-Fi. Recently, the other companies like Yamaha and Suzuki have also launched their models under the 125 cc segment. These models include the YBR 125 and Slingshot 125 motorcycles.
