    E3 Trion

The E3 trion C1 is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The base version comes with a removable 2.3 kWh battery paired with a 2.5 kW motor. It has a claimed range of 108 km and two riding modes: Eco and Power. It takes 2 hours and 20 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent.

    E3 trion C1X

    E3 Trion

Priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The C1X is the mid variant and features a bigger 3 kWh non-removable battery pack and a 2.5 kW motor. It has a claimed IDC range of 165 km. With the bigger battery, the charging time goes up by 1 hour and 10 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent. The scooter comes with two riding modes: Eco and Power

    E3 trion C2

    E3 Trion

The C2 is the performance-based variant in the lineup and features three riding modes: Eco, Power, and Sport. Priced at Rs 1,19,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), it gets the same battery pack as the C1X and a slightly more powerful motor producing a peak power of 3.5 kW.

It has a claimed top speed of 82 kmph. The range is reduced because of the performance – only giving an IDC range of 128 km, which is lower than the C1X but more than the base variant C1.

All the variants of the scooters are equipped with 14-inch wheels at both ends. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends. Furthermore, it features a 5-inch LCD console with an inbuilt mobile phone holder – which converts your phone into a secondary display and a dashcam when connected.

    Which one should you buy?

    E3 Trion

If you are on a tight budget and are willing to compromise on overall range, the C1 will be a good value-for-money option.

The C1X has the bigger battery pack and the most range. This is the variant we would suggest for everyday riding. While it doesn’t have the top speed of the C2, it has the highest claimed range of the three. It is also priced well, for everything it offers. It feels like a more sensible choice for those who want practicality.

The C2 is the fastest variant of the range, and as such, it will be suitable for those who prefer performance over range.
