Quick Highlights:

  • All new TVS RTR 125 unveiled at EICMA 2026

  • Gets a 125 cc, 4-valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine

  • Will be available in the European market once launched

TVS has unveiled a new 125 cc sporty bike at EICMA 2026, which is called just the RTR 125, the brand has not used the Apache name tag here. This bike will be sold in the European market once launched. But as of now, it seems to be a very sharp looking, sporty bike, which is completely different from anything TVS has ever sold in the Indian market.

The bike was seen in a tangy lime green and metallic grey dual-tone colour option in which the bike does look quite striking. It gets a smaller tank, but the tank extensions are quite large, along with this there is also an aggressive looking front-end with sharp DRLs and a projector LED headlight. The bike also gets a tall transparent windshield.  Other than this there is a split seat setup, and the bike uses a sporty trellis frame, a cast swingarm along with inverted fork, and a rear monoshock (both KYB). It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in road  focused tyres (could radial). There are disc brakes at both ends with ByBre calipers and switchable dual channel ABS.

The biggest highlight here is the engine of this motorcycle, which is a 125 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine that produces 14.9 PS at 9,000 rpm, 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm. There is a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. The bike gets a 5-inch TFT console with Google maps mirroring and other connectivity features. There are also ride modes on this bike. This bike will be available for the European market, and will compete with the KTM 125 Duke which is sold internationally. That said, its India launch timeline is not yet released, and to be honest, this bike is a bit too loaded for a 125 cc bike, which means if it gets launched in India, the pricing will be a bit too high.
