Buying The Vida V1 Pro Electric Scooter? Check Out These Year-end Discounts

Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand, Vida, has announced its year-end offers, providing discounts and benefits of up to Rs 38,500 on the purchase of its electric scooter, the Vida V1 Pro. It is priced at Rs 1,25,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) inclusive of a portable charger, FAME 2 subsidy, and state subsidy.
The primary offer covers a direct cash discount of Rs 6,500, a petrol vehicle exchange benefit of Rs 5,000, an additional Hero/Vida (applies for all Hero bikes and scooter owners, along with the Vida V1 Pro) loyalty bonus of Rs 7,500, and a corporate discount of Rs 2,500.
Vida is also offering EMI benefits of up to Rs 7,500, a complimentary extended battery warranty worth Rs 8,259 and a free subscription plan worth Rs 1,125. The subscription plan covers free charging at the Vida charging stations, navigation and geofencing (allowing for location-based actions or notifications on your smartphones). However, we feel these features should be accessible at a one-time payment and not as a recurring expense. Also, Vida had earlier announced that the V1 Pro can also be charged at Ather Grid charging stations. However, these might likely be chargeable (pun intended).
Clubbing all the offers mentioned above, customers can avail discounts of up to Rs 38,500 at any Vida Experience Centre valid till December 31, 2023.
Vida is also offering a finance scheme, 'Start riding in 2023, Pay later in 2024', under which customers making their down payment in December 2023 can pay their first EMI instalment in January 2024. However, this seems more like just a marketing tactic, as this is basically the procedure when buying any vehicle via EMI.

- V1 Pro- Should you Buy ?Real world mileage if you run it in eco mode, won't give you 90 km in single charge, even the v2 pro model. However since I bought, I did not spend single penny on maintenance. Other negatives: Vida has not released any software update so far over ota, don't have option to change speedometer dashboard skin, most of the features won't work in app. Keyless: should have an option for key. - Best removable battery scooter.I am owning VidaV1 from past 1+ year. I see it is best in built quality and riding comfortability. It has good space for carrying. Very important feature which is the one help me a lot is removable battery. I moved from one rented home to other and at new home no charging facilities at basement.
