Numeros has launched the N-first electric scooter in India. It’s priced from Rs 64,999 (introductory, ex-showroom). It has 3 variants with varying range and features. The variants are called Max, i-Max and i-Max+. First 1000 customers can book their scooters at a price of Rs 499, and deliveries will begin from January 2026.
The base Numeros N-First Max variant and the mid-spec i-Max variant are powered by a 2.5kWh battery pack, with a claimed range of 91km. The battery pack on both variants take 5 to 6 hours to charge fully. Both are powered by a 1.8kW (peak) motor, which offers a claimed top speed of 55kmph.
The top-of-the-line i-Max+ variant, on the other hand, gets a 3kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 109km. This battery pack takes 7 to 8 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent. The i-Max+ is powered by a 2.5kW (peak) motor which offers a claimed top speed of 70kmph. All variants get a chain drive.
The base and mid variants only get two riding modes: Eco and Normal, whereas the top-end variant gets three riding modes: Eco, Normal and Sport. Other features include a reverse mode, theft and tow alerts, immobilisation feature and geofencing. It gets a simple LCD console, which displays speed, battery level, along with odometer and tripmeter readouts.
The scooter also comes with a mobile phone holder (compatible with any smartphone), so riders can use Google Maps while on the go. There’s also an apron-mounted mobile charger, so you can keep your phone charged while navigating.
The 16-liter underseat storage is completely occupied by the battery and a small pouch containing the charging cable. There’s a small space next to it (under the pillion seat) that can hold your wallet, but nothing bigger than that. There’s also another small storage space under the floorboard.
Unlike a regular scooter, this one gets oversized 16-inch wheels. The biggest advantage of these wheels is that it can easily glide over bad roads. It has drum brakes on both ends, with a combined braking system - should be just enough as it’s not really a performance EV. It has a conventional fork up and dual rear shocks. The ground clearance comes to 159mm, which should be good enough for most riding conditions.

While the scooter looks funky, it is not as practical as a normal scooter as the storage space isn’t all that much. That’s the price to pay if you prioritise looks over everything else. With a decent claimed range and affordable starting price, the N-first is a good option for those who want their first two-wheeler to be green, look unique, and not cost as much. It rivals the BGauss RUV 350, the only other e-scooter in India with such massive 16-inch wheels.
