BREAKING: Hero Vida 4.4kWh Variant Launched In India
Same wholesome riding experience now with a much larger range!
Hero has expanded the Vida VX2 lineup with the launch of a new VX2 Plus 4.4kWh variant. The latest addition sits above the existing 3.4kWh model and focuses on offering a significantly higher riding range without changing the scooter's performance or feature set. It is priced at Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom) and will reach dealerships across India by the end of July 2026.

The biggest highlight is the larger 4.4kWh battery pack, made up of two removable 2.2kWh batteries. Thanks to the increased capacity, the claimed IDC range has gone up to 187km, a healthy improvement over the 146km claimed by the 3.4kWh variant. The claimed top speed has also gone up to 90kmph (10kmph more).
With the new variant, Hero has also given a 1kW portable charger, instead of the 580W charger that’s offered with the smaller battery version. Using the portable charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 3 hours 17 minutes, while a full charge takes 5 hours 8 minutes. If you have access to a DC fast charger, the charging time drops to 65 minutes for 0 to 80 percent, while a full charge takes around 2 hours 30 minutes.
What's Unchanged?
Apart from the bigger battery, the VX2 Plus remains mechanically identical to the existing model. It continues to use the same 6kW electric motor producing 26Nm..
The riding modes remain unchanged too, with Eco, Ride and Sport, along with a Boost mode that delivers an extra burst of acceleration for quick overtakes.
Feature-wise, the scooter retains its 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The overall styling, hardware and equipment list also remain unchanged.

The new 4.4kWh variant makes the Vida VX2 Plus a more appealing option for riders looking to cover longer distances on a single charge. Sure it is more expensive than the 3.4kWh version, but the increase in claimed range and faster charging capability could justify the higher asking price.

I was highly attracted by the price, As I have seen numerous service issues with other companies. I didn't want to take a risk of paying high and suffering loss. Colour and design are appealing to me. Regarding the riding experience, It is very comfort even the back seat guy is feeling excellent comfort. The scooter has 3 difference ride modes. I explored a lot of options but selected this scooter because it had everything that I was looking for. Easy to charge, baas service makes it more affordable as compare to other brands and its competitors. Looks pretty, must consider this ev as it has removable batteries which makes the charging more convenient and easy.
