BREAKING: Hero Lectro Expands Electric Cycle Range With New Variants
They come with decent range, sporty colours and an enticing price tag
Hero Lectro, the electric cycle brand of Hero Cycles, has launched three new variants, the C1, C5x and the F1, respectively, of the existing C and F series of cycles.
All three cycles are driven by a 0.25kW motor that’s powered by a 5.8Ah Lithium-ion battery pack that takes between three and four hours to fully charge. They can ride up to 30km on a single charge and if you choose to ride on throttle alone, then, the range drops to 25km. Top speed using only the throttle is 25kmph for all three e-bikes.
The cycles get disc brakes and also come in new colour schemes complemented by sporty decals. While all three electric bicycles are available in two colour schemes each, we think the dark blue paint scheme with neon blue badging on the Hero Lectro C5X looks stunning.
Prices start at Rs 30,999 for the Lectro C5. The C1 occupies the middle ground, carrying a price tag of Rs 32,999, while the F1 retails at Rs 38,999. The F1 will compete with the likes of the EMotorad T-Rex while the C5 and C1 will compete with e-cycles such as the BattRE Electric Mobility Huge.
