Hero Lectro H5 Summary

Positioned in the entry-level e-bicycle segment, the Hero Lectro H5 is an electric bicycle for beginners and younger riders new to electric bicycles. It is designed for short-distance commutes, and with the inclusion of pedals, it doubles up as a traditional bicycle too.

The Hero Lectro H5 is priced at Rs 28,999. There are two colour options available for the Hero Lectro H5: Teal with orange graphics and Grey with neon green graphics.

Hero Lectro H5 Key Features

The Hero Lectro H5 is equipped with a digital LED display with pedal assist modes, along with reflectors at the front below the handlebar and one behind the seat. The H5 also has a 680mm featherlight alloy handlebar with alloy levers.

Hero Lectro H5 Motor and Battery

The Hero Lectro H5 gets a 5. 8Ah in-tube removable battery, which is accompanied by a 0. 25kWh BLDC hub motor. With this motor, the Hero Lectro H5 can hit a top speed of just under 25kmph. The H5 also comes with a standard single-speed gear.

The Hero Lectro H5 delivers a riding range of 30 km in the pedelec (pedal with electric assist) mode and 25 km in the pure electric-only mode. A full charge takes 3-4 hours.

Hero Lectro H5 Suspension and Brakes

The Hero Lectro H5 has a telescopic fork with 80mm wheel travel. Riding on 27. 5-inch wheels with tube-type tyres at both ends, the Hero Lectro H5 has mechanical disc brakes for both wheels.
