Indonesian two-wheeler market, which is recognized as the third largest two-wheeler market in world, has surprisingly recorded a decline in the sales of vehicles during the month of January 2012. It would be important to mention here that flood situation in Thailand is considered as one of the major reason of dip in sales during the months of December 2011 and January 2012. It is expected that the situation will improve in the coming days and sales will pick up pace; the industry will be able to achieve its target of selling 9 million units of two wheelers by the end of this year. The flood situation in Thailand has also affected the production of bikes in Indian bike market.
