2025 Suzuki Avenis Standard Variant Launched

Rs 1,800 more affordable than before along with OBD-2B compliance

Quick Highlights:

  • Suzuki Avenis now available with a standard variant

  • Now complies with OBD-2B emission norms

  • Gets more affordable than before

Suzuki India has launched a new Standard variant for the Avenis price at Rs 91,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). The variant is Rs 1,800 cheaper than the top-spec Avenis Special Edition. Lets have a closer look at this new variant.

The standard variant of the Suzuki Avenis continues with the same sharp and sporty design language which makes it look quite aggressive. It is available in four exciting colour options: Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 with Glossy Sparkle Black and just Glossy Sparkle Black – same as the base variant

For 2025, the Suzuki Avenis gets an OBD-2B compliant 124.3cc single-cylinder engine which makes the same 8.7PS and 10Nm. This engine has been praised for its good power delivery and fuel efficiency, along with this it also powers the Access 125 and the Burgman Street in Suzuki’s line-up.

It gets a LED headlight and tail light along with a LCD screen which shows all the basic information but misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. This sporty scooter gets a 21.8-litre underseat storage along with a covered and an open cubby hole with a USB charging port. It also gets an external fuel-filler cap for added convenience.

The other two variants of the Suzuki Avenis, the base and the Special, , already received the OBD-2B update back in March 2025. This new Standard variant sits as the most affordable Suzuki Avenis in the market. It has exciting looks and a good engine but misses out on features like smartphone connectivity. In the Indian market, the Suzuki Avenis competes with the Honda Dio 125, TVS Ntorq 125, and the Yamaha RayZR

Just An Awesome Product By Suzuki

I chose this bike for it's amazing sporty looks. The power delivery of this scooter is amazing. The scooter has an well maintained body weight so that it does lift up from the road at high speeds & ofcourse Suzuki reliable engine. It was an amazing ride so far. Both The rear and front brakes are really good, appropriate for stopping the vehicle at max speeds. The throw of the headlight is really good for night riding. The digital meter is quite bright even in scorching sunlight. Yes I would recommend this scooter. It's totally worth buying this. Especially people who need an sporty look with and reliable engine and a brand like Suzuki. But two minor cons of this scooter is that Suzuki does not provide hazard button and pass button. Worth Spending.

I got the special edition with Titanium silver and black matte colour. The look is extremely awesome. Speaking about the performance that is also crazy, it's fully comfortable with a leather covered seat. Mileage is top notch. Pick up is low compared to burgman, but not a big issue. Easy handling. Worth it.Read More
