BMW CE 04 has been launched internationally, at EUR 12,950. It is expected to launch in India soon. When it does, it could cost about Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated e-scooter now has three variants: Basic, Avantgarde, and Exclusive. While the ‘Basic’ variant has remained the same, it gets a lot of optional features like a centre stand, anti-theft system, heated grips, quick charger, a bigger windshield, and tyre pressure monitoring system. BMW offers the optional ‘Dynamic Package’, which includes adaptive headlights, DRLs, ABS modes, and riding modes.

In the ‘Avantgarde’ variant, the scooter comes with laser engraved rear rim but the equipment remains the same. This variant can only be had with theGravity Blue Metallic matt shade, with yellow and white accents. Also, the windshield is also in this same yellow shade.

The ‘Style Exclusive’ variant, sits at the top of the lineup and comes in a single colour scheme called Spacesilver Metallic. The scooter comes with heated grips and seats as standard, along with a larger windshield, which is optional on the other two variants. 

The BMW CE 04 still gets a 8.9kWh battery with a claimed range of 130km.  The scooter’s motor has an output of 31kW (42PS) and can reach a claimed top speed of 120kmph. The e-scooter claims to reach 50kmph in just 2.6 seconds from a standstill. The scooter still gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock for suspension, 265mm dual front discs and a 265mm rear single disc brakes, and still rolls on the 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in a 120-section front and a 160-section rear tubeless tyres, the same as before.
