The new 160cc naked Pulsar gets a new feature borrowed from the Pulsar RS200

    Quick Highlights:

    • Now comes with 3 ABS modes

    • Likely to be launched officially soon.

    •  Could cost around Rs 1,000-2,000 more than its current price

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has arrived at the dealerships, hinting at an imminent launch. The motorcycle now gets three ABS modes for better safety.

    What’s New

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 now gets 3 ABS modes: Rain, Road and Off-road. These modes alter the ABS intrusion accordingly. This should come in particularly handy while riding on slippery roads, especially during monsoon. While there has been no official confirmation, its engine could also be OBD-2B compliant considering all two-wheelers have to comply with the new emission regulation from April 1, 2025.

    What’s Same

Other than the new additions, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 gets the same 160.3cc single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled motor which makes 17.2PS and 14.6Nm. In terms of the underpinnings the NS160 uses the same perimeter frame as before along with inverted fork and a Nitrox rear monoshock with preload adjustability. It gets a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brake setup with dual channel ABS.

The street naked runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with a 100 section front and a 130mm rear tyre.

    BikeDekho Says

The current version of the Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1,48,813  (ex-showroom Delhi), we expect this 2025 version to be Rs 1000 to Rs 2000 more expensive than before. Expect a formal launch announcement in the coming weeks.

good bike but need some improvements.
The bike is good handling and performance but the mileage is not that good, it gives me 30-35 kmpl mileage. Meanwhile, the other 160 segment bikes give more mileage and it's not that smooth at higher revs, feels too much vibration. Design is good and handling is good but not so comfortable feels pain in back and shoulder after long ride as it's sports bike.

Review of my 6 years old NS160
I got this bike when i was 18 back in 2019, after almost 6 plus years and 30 thousand kilometres. I personally see this bike as the best value for money one can get. Apart from that this bike is still relevant after all these years. The one thing i like the most about this vehicle is its handling. If maintained well this bike gives a smooth and comfortable ride be it in city or highway. Mine is twin disc variant with single channel ABS, break bite is quick enough to react in emergency breaking situations. The only con I have noticed so far is bajaj's parts durability. Though they offer parts at cheaper rates comparatively but still it becomes a headache when you need to replace them more often. Will recommend this bike any day. For me this is a perfect package of commuter, adventure, long riding basically everything. I have done 500 kms in a single day stopped at every 100 kms for nearly 30 mins and the bike performed very well. This is a perfect bike for those who look for a all-rounder bike with low maintenance.

My 1500 km riding experience with bajaj NS160
i choose this bike as i am a college student and i love the sporty bikes. even the maintainance and the reliablity were anotheer major factor. its service cost are aslo low and its mileage is also a good point . the handling and the overall balance of the bike is too impressive, if we talk about the features, it's quite good.In city traffics the bike is extremly flickable. The weight Distribution is sooo perfect. it offers a perfect mixture of power and fuel efficiency.bajaj also have the good service netwrok and the spare parts are also available in short period of time unlike others where we have to wait for weeks.

      Sporty Look with Smooth Performance
I chose the NS160 because I liked its sporty look and sharp design. I wanted bike that is fun to ride but also safe for city traffic. My cousin had a Bajaj and he said it is easy to maintain. It felt strong, light, and stylish. I thought it would make my rides more enjoyable and smooth. Riding this bike has been fun. The engine is quick and the handling is smooth. I took it on small trips and it feels stable. Brakes respond well. Even in slow traffic it does not feel heavy. The seat is comfy. I feel confident on long and short rides. Every ride feels energetic and safe. I would recommend it to friends who like sporty bikes. It is good for city and short trips. It feels solid and smooth. Easy to handle, looks cool, and fuel use is low. It is reliable and fun. I think many young people will enjoy it for daily riding.

      Power with True Control
I chose this one after test riding a few. It felt steadier and better balanced. The engine sound was quieter, and it looked a bit sportier compared to others in my range. Chose it for comfort and upright seating. I’ve done long rides and daily commutes both. No big issue so far. Brakes grip well and the suspension takes bumps nicely. The seat is comfortable even after hours of riding. Feels light and comfortable on traffic roads. I’d recommend it for regular users who want comfort with economy. The looks are decent and it runs strong without frequent repairs or tuning. Ideal for daily city riders. Picked it for its sporty design and grip.
