Last month, Indian Motorcycles unveiled the 2022 Chief lineup, commemorating the American cruiser brand’s centenary. Now, Indian has revealed that prices for the 2022 Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber, and the Super Chief Limited will start at Rs 20.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings have commenced across dealerships in India for a token of Rs 3 lakh, while deliveries are expected to begin from the second quarter of this year.
The 2022 Indian Chief lineup uses the same 1890cc V-twin engine belting out 162Nm at 3,200rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. These big-bore cruisers come equipped with electronic aids like ABS, cruise control, three riding modes, and keyless ignition. For 2022, the bikes pack a new 4-inch touchscreen console with navigation as standard.
The Indian Chief Dark Horse has received a massive styling overhaul in this update, shedding its beefy appearance for a more chiselled look. There’s also the Dark Horse Bobber for those looking for a heavy-looking bobber. If you seek a more comfortable option, the Super Chief Limited could be a good fit, with its big windshield, more comfortable seats, and a wider handlebar.
