KTM 2024 390 Adventure

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted testing in Europe. It comes with a lean bodywork that’s inspired from the KTM 450 Rally Replica, and is built on a redesigned chassis too. Check out the in-depth spy shot analysis here.

The motorcycle is powered by the same 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, but the engine casing appears to be different. It could produce the same 43.5PS and 37Nm as before but KTM could improve the refinement and possibly add more riding modes. 

The engine sits inside a redesigned trellis frame with a new subframe and is linked to a new swingarm. While the front gets a long-travel WP inverted fork, the rear comes with an offset monoshock. The brake rotors look different from the existing models, and the test mule features an axial caliper up front as opposed to the current-gen bike’s radial caliper. KTM is likely experimenting with different braking units. The bike rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped with block pattern tyres for optimum off-road ability. 

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be launched in early 2024, and will go up against the upcoming Hero 450 ADV as well as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
