    Overview

    Kawasaki Z900RS Overview

The Kawasaki Z900RS is the neo-retro version of the Z900 streetfighter motorcycle, and it also uses the same 948cc inline-four cylinder engine as well.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Price

As of now the Kawasaki Z900RS has been discontinued in India, but its last recorded price was Rs 17.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

    Kawasaki Z900RS Colours

The Kawasaki Z900RS was available in two colour options: Candy Tone Blue and Metallic Diablo Black.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Variants

The Kawasaki Z900RS was available in a single variant.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Design

The Kawasaki Z900RS gets a neo-retro design, which includes a metal fuel tank, twin-pod instrument cluster, a round headlight and a clean looking tail section which goes well with the overall design. The available colour schemes with beautiful looking golden coloured graphics made the Z900RS an appealing motorcycle.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Engine

The Kawasaki Z900RS gets the same engine as the Z900 streetfighter motorcycle. A 948cc inline-four cylinder motor makes  111PS at 8,500rpm and 98.5Nm at 6,500rpm. There is a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.

Kawasaki Z900RS Chassis, Suspension And Brake

The Kawasaki Z900RS uses a steel trellis frame with a 41mm inverted fork and a rear gas-charged monoshock with preload adjustability. It gets twin 300mm discs at the front and a 250mm rear disc brake setup with dual channel ABS. The motorcycle weighs 215kg (kerb), and gets a 17-litre fuel tank. The saddle height is a bit high at 835mm while the ground clearance is a bit low at 130mm.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Features

The Kawasaki Z900RS gets all-LED lights and a twin-pod instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and tachometer, along with an LCD display which shows other important information. It misses out on smartphone connectivity. Other than this, the motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, and a slipper clutch.

    Kawasaki Z900RS Competition

When it was available in India, the Kawasaki Z900RS competed with the Triumph Speed Twin 900 and the BMW R nine T. Amongst these bikes, the Speed Twin 900 is the most affordable, and the BMW is the most expensive modern-classic. The Z900RS sat between the two.

      experiences, but I can provide
experiences, but I can provide details about the Kawasaki Z900RS. It's a retro-style motorcycle inspired by the classic Z1 from the 1970s. The Z900RS features a powerful inline-four engine, modern chassis components, and classic styling cues like round headlamps and a teardrop fuel tank. Riders often praise its blend of nostalgic design with contemporary performance and handling.

      Impressed with the Kawasaki Z900RS
I am very impressed with the Kawasaki Z900RS, it performs very well. I personally find the seat a bit hard, and the windscreen offers limited wind protection at high speeds. The fuel tank capacity is also relatively small, which can be a minor inconvenience on long rides.
