      29 June 2018: The KLX450R adapts key components from the original KX450F's motocross abilities and utilizes them for a bit of off-road fun. It packs the same lightweight 449cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, carbureted single-cylinder engine, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.  

      Kawasaki knows you are not going to be gentle with this one. Hence, it comes equipped with a lightweight all-aluminium chassis, which, according to the company, has been fettled to endure even the toughest off-road conditions.  

      To further aid you in hostile terrains, the KLX450R comes with premium AOS 48mm fully adjustable inverted front forks and an adjustable Unit-Track monoshock unit at the rear. Braking is handled by a front 250mm petal disc and a rear 240mm unit. It tips the scale at 126kg.  

      Kawasaki's premium off-roader comes with a price tag of Rs 8. 49 lakh. However, as much as we'd want to take it over our potholes, they are not road-legal and hence cannot be registered.
